SPY (St.
Paul Youth) -Lites
St. Paul’s Youth Ministry programming for elementary age
children is called SPY Lites! Held on the second Sunday of each month from
approximately 10:40AM (following the completion of POWER Hour) to 1:00 PM, SPY-Lites
incorporates a fellowship lunch for the children.
The goal of SPY-Lites is to
provide opportunity for the children to play, to craft, to study, to serve, to visit
and to explore God’s world toether through
the eyes of Christian faith. Occasional outings have featured trips for Ice
Skating, Mini-Golf and other fun group activities as well as yearly Christmas
Caroling to homes or a local care-giving facility. (For events away from the
church, children third grade and older may participate “on their own” with the
completion of Parent Permission and Health Forms; children younger than third
grade must have a parent accompany them.) SPY-Lites “sponsors” are Karl and Kristen
Jones.

Kids POWER HourKids POWER* Hour meets on Sunday mornings from 9:40 – 10:40
AM - during the 9:15 worship service - and uses Group’s active “Living Inside
Out” children’s ministry curriculum.
POWER* Hour time begins in the sanctuary with the opening of worship,
Holy Communion (St. Paul communes children beginning at age 5 following family
instruction) and the Children’s Sermon then continues in the SPLAT Center for a great time of large group singing, skits, puppet shows,
introductions and celebration before breaking into smaller class groups forPre-School, Pre K-K, Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary students. Anyone can join at any time!

 Vacation Bible School
August 1-5, 2011 | 9:00am - 12:00pm
St. Paul holds a weekly
summer Bible school for pre-school through sixth grade children. VBS for 2011
will be using Group Publishing’s “Hometown Nazareth” materials and leading
children on a wonderful week of exploring the Holy Land where Jesus was born
and lived. A registration donation of $20 includes a great t-shirt in addition
to five mornings of stories, crafts, music, games, snacks, fun and Christian
learning. Join in next summer!
